I'm Martin, the creator of Pongo Place. Orangutans have always been one of my favourite animals on this wonderful planet we live on.

I created Pongo Place to help people get to know orangs better and help support them.

There are three species of Orangutans; Tapanuli (Pongo tapanuliensis), Bornean (Pongo pygmaeus) and Sumatran (Pongo abelii). You can probably guess how I came up with the name, Pongo Place.
